Chapter 820: Will It Work?
Villain Ch 820. Will It Work?
"Morning," Jordan returned Allen’s greeting as he took a seat across from him at the dining table. "How’s the planning going? Are you having any trouble?" he asked, his tone warm but slightly concerned.
Allen shifted in his seat, his mind still buzzing with the morning’s thoughts. "About that, there are a few things I want to ask you," he admitted, glancing down at his hands for a moment before meeting Jordan’s eyes.
"Tell me," said Jordan, his tone relaxed and encouraging.
Allen took a deep breath, organizing his thoughts. "Since we’re inviting several business colleagues and partners, I want to hold some kind of game demos or maybe a friendly competition," he began. "Like an introduction to our game and maybe a sneak peek at the company’s next project," Allen explained, his excitement building. "I was thinking of something like the battle dome, for example.
It’s unique and I’ve never seen anything like it before. What do you think?"
Jordan frowned slightly, a look of disbelief crossing his face. "You mean you want this party to be...?"
"More interactive," Allen finished for him, leaning forward. "I think it could really showcase what we do and get people excited. It’s one thing to tell them about our projects, but it’s another to let them experience it firsthand."
Jordan leaned back in his chair, contemplating Allen’s idea. "It’s ambitious," he said slowly, his mind turning over the possibilities. "But it could also be risky. If something goes wrong, it could reflect poorly on the company."
Allen nodded, understanding the gravity of what he was proposing. "I know. But I’ve thought it through. We can set up controlled demos, make sure everything is tested and safe. Plus, it could set us apart from other companies. Show them we’re not just another game developer."
Jordan finally broke the silence, a smile forming on his lips. "I think it’s a fantastic idea, Allen. It shows creativity and a willingness to push boundaries. That’s exactly the kind of innovation we want to be known for."
Allen felt a wave of relief and excitement wash over him. "Great! I was worried it might be too much, but I really believe it can make a difference."
Jordan nodded, his eyes gleaming with approval. "The key will be in the execution. We need to make sure every detail is perfect."
"Absolutely," Allen agreed. "I’ve already started thinking about how to manage it. We’ll need the best decorators and designers, and I’ll coordinate with the team to ensure the costumes are spot-on. We can also use the event to build hype for our next release."
Jordan raised an eyebrow. "Have you thought about the logistics? Handling such a large-scale theme won’t be easy."
Allen nodded, already anticipating the challenges. "I know it’ll be a lot of work, but I’m ready for it. I’ll need your help with some of the contacts and perhaps a bit of your magic touch in convincing some of the partners, but I think we can make it happen."
Jordan chuckled. "You’ve got my support, Allen. This is your project, and I believe you can pull it off. Just remember, it’s about creating an experience. If we can make our guests feel like they’re stepping into one of our games, we’ll have succeeded."
"Thank you, Dad," Allen said, his voice filled with gratitude.
For a while, Jordan and Allen sat in comfortable silence, the soft hum of the dining room filling the space. Jordan’s eyes fell on Allen, and he couldn’t help but smile. There was a profound sense of pride swelling within him. It was evident that Allen didn’t just think about himself.
Despite his youth, he was already deeply invested in the company’s development and had a knack for innovative advertising. This wasn’t just about a party; it was about creating a memorable experience that would reflect well on their brand.
