Chapter 7459 Random Thoughts

Chapter 7459 (Seven Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-Nine) Random Thoughts

“If you say it sounds like you’re being silly, then I won’t argue,” the brown-handed man laughed.

"You just go along with it like that?" Grayhand asked.

"It seems you don't really need me to admit whether you think you're being ridiculous or not?" the brown-handed man laughed.

The gray-handed man asked, "What's your opinion?"

"It seems I'm not in a position to offer any opinion on what you think," the Brown-Handed Man chuckled.

The gray-handed man chuckled, "Why are you being so cautious? So careful?"

“What if I told you that this is a habit I’ve developed over a long period of time?” the Brown-Handed Man asked.

The gray-handed man said, "Then I understand."

“It’s not like you wouldn’t know if I didn’t say it,” the brown-handed man laughed.

The gray-handed man said, “You see, I just said ‘then I knew,’ and you’re trying to say that I already knew. If I hadn’t said ‘then I knew,’ you would definitely have something else to say to me.”

“If you talk to me, I have to respond, right?” the brown-handed man said.

"And then?" the gray-handed man asked.

"Doesn't a reaction mean there's something waiting for you?" the brown-handed man asked.

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "Is that so? So that's what you think."

"Isn't that how it is? As long as I react, what I say when I react is exactly what you're waiting for, isn't it?" the brown-handed man laughed.

"What matters is not whether it seems to me that you're waiting for me, but whether your words are actually waiting for me," the gray-handed man laughed.

“Actually? How do you determine that?” the brown-handed man asked. The gray-handed man smiled and said, “You know.”

The brown-handed man chuckled, "Are you saying this again, something that sounds a bit strange, concise yet seems to have a hidden meaning?"

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "It's not that complicated. It just means what it says."

“Look, you said ‘the general meaning.’ You didn’t say the full meaning, the literal meaning. Doesn’t that mean you were thinking of something else when you said those two words?” the brown-handed man asked.

"I did think of other things at the time, but those were just random thoughts, and they had nothing to do with this matter," Grayhand said with a smile.

The brown-handed man laughed and asked, "How can you prove what you're saying?"

The gray-handed man said, "Do I need to prove this?"

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Yes, you need to prove it so I can know if what you're saying is true, and that what you're thinking has nothing to do with this matter."

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "So, you don't believe me even though I'm telling you directly?"

“I didn’t say I didn’t believe it,” the brown-handed man laughed. “I just want to hear your proof.”

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "Alright, let's prove it then. I'll just tell you what I was thinking about earlier, and do you think that's enough proof?"

“Of course, I think that’s enough to prove it,” the Brown-Handed Man laughed.

“You said it, don’t make me prove it again after I’ve finished speaking,” the gray-handed man laughed.

The brown-handed man said, "Fine, I promise you, I won't let you continue proving anything, is that alright?"

“Of course that will work,” Grayhand said with a smile. “I was just thinking about this, and when I was thinking about ‘you know,’ I also thought about the saying ‘Heaven knows, Earth knows, you know, I know.’ The content other than ‘you know’ really has nothing to do with what we are talking about now.”

The brown-handed man chuckled, “That does sound like it.”
