His gentle voice whispered almost right next to her ear, causing some infatuated girls nearby to envy and resent.
With a twitch of her mouth, Li Mu felt all sorts of pressure under those envious eyes but reluctantly followed Bai Chenyao onto the roller coaster.
At first, it was fine, with the slow climb, Li Mu’s heartbeat was still manageable.
When they reached the top, just before plunging down, Li Mu wasn’t prepared, and suddenly felt like she was being thrown from a high place, that feeling of weightlessness spreading all over her body, even as she tried hard to hold it in, she ended up screaming loudly from fright.
Meanwhile, screams erupted all around them.
But at this point, with her spirit nearly leaving her body, Li Mu couldn’t care about others’ screams, whisked by the roaring wind and the dizzying sensation of weightless plunges and rises, leaving her helpless, clutching Bai Chenyao’s hand tightly without even noticing the bright red mark on his wrist.
