Chapter 196: Exploring the Ancient Castle

Shen Mo and the others followed the eerie path towards the ancient castle deep in the forest. The trees on both sides of the road looked like monsters with bared fangs and claws, and the eerie wind whistled past, making the leaves rustle.

"Everyone be careful, there is an evil spirit in this place." Shen Mo said in a low voice.

They walked around the castle and finally found a broken window on one side.

"You are finally here."

"Come out! Don't hide!" Shen Mo shouted loudly.

A man in a black cloak slowly walked out of the shadows.

"Do you think you can rescue that person easily?"

"What did you do to the old man?" Su Yao asked anxiously.

The man in black sneered: "He is in this castle, but whether you can find him depends on your ability."

After saying this, the man in black disappeared.

They continued to search the castle, opening doors and walking through corridors.

In a basement, they found some strange symbols and magic circles.
