The monster was huge and had a ferocious face. It opened its bloody mouth and pounced towards Shen Mo and the others.
Shen Mo reacted quickly, pushing Lin Yuwei and Ye Lan aside, and rolling sideways to avoid the attack.
"Everyone be careful!" Shen Mo shouted loudly.
Ye Lan steadied himself and immediately swung his sword towards the monster. The monster had thick skin and flesh, and Ye Lan's sword only left a shallow mark on it.
Lin Yuwei was not to be outdone. She picked up a stone from the ground and smashed it hard into the monster's eyes.
The monster was enraged and attacked them even more frantically.
Shen Mo observed the monster's movements and found that its right side seemed to be a weak point.
"Attack its right side!" Shen Mo shouted.
Ye Lan and Lin Yuwei heard Shen Mo's instructions and attacked the monster's right side.
The monster was overwhelmed for a moment, and Shen Mo took the opportunity to jump up and stabbed the monster's right eye with the sword in his hand.
"Ah!" The monster roared in pain, blood flowing from its right eye.
It began to rush around randomly, knocking the tables and chairs in the castle into pieces.
Shen Mo and his companions kept dodging the monster's attacks, while looking for opportunities to give it a fatal blow.
Finally, the monster's movements became slow due to its severe injuries.
Ye Lan seized the opportunity and stabbed the monster's heart with a sword.
The monster fell to the ground with a loud bang and there was no movement anymore.
"Finally solved." Lin Yuwei slumped on the ground, gasping for breath.
Shen Mo and Ye Lan were also exhausted, but they did not dare to let their guard down and began to search the castle.
The castle is filled with an old atmosphere, and ancient portraits are hung on the walls, as if telling stories from the past.
They walked into a room and found it filled with various books and scrolls.

When the light faded, they found themselves back in the cave.
