Chapter 967: Fake Loyalty
Chapter 967: Fake Loyalty
Villain Ch 967. Fake Loyalty
Darren sighed deeply, the weight of the decision pressing down on him. "I get that. I do. But if she catches on, if she realizes what we're trying to do, she'll turn on us even harder. We could end up making things worse for ourselves."
Liam took another swig of his potion, his mind still racing as he weighed the risks and rewards of their plan. "I've thought about that too. But think about it—if we can get her to slip up, just once, and say something incriminating, we can turn the tables on her. We can make her the one who's afraid of getting exposed. Besides, she's still crazy about Allen, right?
If the video leaks, I'm not sure Allen would go back to her. Allen hates us, and I'm not sure he'd pick up our leftovers while he literally has more than she ever was."
Darren listened, the gears turning in his mind as he considered the possibilities. "You've got a point there," he admitted, leaning back slightly as he mulled it over. "If we play this right, we might just have a shot at getting out from under her thumb. But we'll need to be careful. One wrong move, and she'll see right through us."
"So we just need a good opportunity to do it," Liam added, a nasty grin spreading across his face. He could almost see the pieces falling into place, the potential to turn the tables on Sophia tantalizingly close.
Darren leaned in, his curiosity piqued. "How? What's the plan?" he asked, eager to hear the details.
Liam paused, thinking it over carefully. "We need something she can't resist—something that will get her so worked up that she slips up and says exactly what we need her to say. And that something is Allen. We need good information about Allen. Anything. Something that she couldn't resist digging into."
"We can't keep letting her control us like this," Liam continued, his voice low and resolute. The fear and uncertainty that had momentarily shaken him were now replaced with a hardened determination. "We've already lost so much because of her. Our peace, our freedom to make our own choices... It's like we're trapped in this nightmare that we can't wake up from."
Darren looked at him, the lines of worry etched deep in his face. "I know," he said quietly. "But if we make the wrong move, if we push too hard or too fast, she'll see right through us. And then it's game over."

Liam nodded. "That's why we have to be smart about this. We need to find that one piece of information, that one thing that will make her let her guard down. Something she can't resist, something that will make her think we're still under her spell. And then, when the time is right, we get her to admit what she's done."
Darren sighed deeply, rubbing his temples as he tried to push away the tension gnawing at him. "And if she doesn't slip up? What if she never gives us what we need?"
Liam paused, his eyes narrowing as he considered the question. "Then we don't stop until she does," he said finally, his voice firm. "We keep playing the game, keep pretending, until she makes a mistake. Sooner or later, she will. She's too confident, too sure of herself. She'll get careless, and when she does, we'll be ready."
The plan was risky—there was no denying that. But Liam couldn't see any other way out. They were already in too deep, and the only way forward was to keep pushing, to outmaneuver Sophia at her own game.
Darren nodded slowly and finished his potion. They didn't have the luxury of hesitation anymore; they needed to act. But they had to do so carefully, strategically, without tipping their hand too soon. If they were going to make this work, they would need to be smarter, more cunning, and more patient than ever before.
