Villain Ch 839. One Rotten Apple Could Spoil The Whole Barrel
Allen's expression brightened. "This game for sure," he said, a note of determination in his voice. "I'll send the list of other games to the rest of you. I'm aiming for NPCs that are quite famous or maybe even trademarks of the game."
Jane immediately jumped in. "We'll help you with that, Allen. Don't worry."
Shea chimed in, her tone practical and encouraging. "Also, I'm sure you'll need a decorating vendor, too?"
Allen turned to her, nodding. "Yes, but Kai says he can handle it. He knows the right vendors and I've seen their portfolio. They're really good."
Shea smiled, relieved to hear that things were falling into place. "Good to hear that."
Larissa stepped forward, her expression serious but supportive. "If you need our help, just say it. We're here for you."
Allen felt a wave of gratitude wash over him. "I will, don't worry. I appreciate it, really."
A familiar voice interrupted. "Hey, Allen. I didn't expect to meet you here."
Allen turned to see James approaching, a broad grin on his face. Right behind him was Noah, who greeted him with a nod. "Looking good, Allen. I saw your video on the forum. It was so cool."
Noah sighed, shaking his head. "Unfortunately, not yet. You know the thread, right? Even though it's starting to be buried, Elio said it was still too soon to make a move. If he kicked her out too quickly, his reputation would take a hit. So, he's decided to hold off."
Allen scoffed, understanding the political maneuvering. "Makes sense." He glanced at Noah and James, then allowed a smirk to spread across his face. "But if I were him, I wouldn't let a rotten player stay on my team for too long. One rotten apple could spoil the whole barrel. You should be careful."
James chuckled darkly. "Trust me, we're all aware of that. It's been a nightmare dealing with her drama." Find adventures on My Virtual Library Empire
Noah nodded, his expression grim. "We've been trying to work around her, but it's not easy. She has a way of causing problems wherever she goes."
Allen's smirk widened. "Just make sure she doesn't drag you down with her. It's bad enough she's a liability in the game. You don't want her affecting your standing in the community too."
James and Noah exchanged glances, clearly sharing Allen's sentiments. "We're doing our best," James said. "But it's hard when she's still technically part of the team."
Allen looked James and Noah squarely in the eyes, his expression serious. "I'm just reminding you guys about that. I never joined the event, but I followed the thread. I can say she treated Elio very badly. Elio clashed with me several times to defend her, yet she simply tarnishes his reputation like that. I don't want to defend Elio either, but I feel sick about it."
James frowned, nodding in agreement. "Yes, I thought the same thing. It's like she's dragging everyone down with her. Elio doesn't deserve this kind of backlash because of her."
Noah sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's frustrating. We've tried to address it within the team, but she's always deflecting blame. It's exhausting."
Allen crossed his arms, leaning slightly against a nearby stall. "I've seen it happen before. One person causing so much disruption can break a team's spirit. You guys need to be careful and make sure she doesn't affect your performance. The last thing you need is internal conflict."
