Chapter 27 Daily Life 2
Chapter 27 Daily Life 2
Next up is Bizomo, an artificial life form monster from the planet Bizomo, possessing high intelligence. However, it lacks moral constraints, acts recklessly, and only knows how to reproduce, thus destroying its own home planet.
It was discovered in Antarctica and brought to TPC for research. During the research process, a large amount of oxygen was released, and the excessive oxygen content caused oxygen poisoning among the researchers.
The GUTS team then intervened in the investigation. After some investigation, Horii found the coral-like life form that had been discovered in Antarctica in the research lab and brought it back to the command center.
In the Victory Team's command room, everyone gathered around the coral-like object brought by Horii, examining it closely. However, they couldn't make heads or tails of it!
Therefore, Megumi ordered Horii to conduct further research on this object.
After some investigation, Horii discovered that the oxygen concentration in the room had increased while the carbon dioxide content had decreased. He then determined that this substance was responsible for the previous oxygen poisoning incident.
However, when Horii wasn't paying attention, a pink substance flowed out of the coral-like life form and entered the computer.
"I'm alive. Please, save me." The computer automatically displayed the message.
When Horii saw this, he was shocked.
"What's going on? My computer has come to life and is talking to me!"
So he started chatting with the computer. After some conversation, Horii realized that it wasn't that his computer had come to life, but rather that the things he was researching were alive.
He calls himself Bizomo, and comes from the planet Bizomo. He claims he was created to purify the atmosphere.
When Horii heard that there was such a good thing, he thought, "Wouldn't that solve the problem of air pollution for humans? That's wonderful!"
So he brought the computer to the command room and told everyone about it.
Everyone thought it would be wonderful if it were really as Bizomo said.
Therefore, Megumi Kijima ordered that Hizomo be returned to the laboratory and placed under guard, and then a high-level meeting was held to make a decision.
That night, Hizomo secretly bred several more and disappeared through the ventilation shafts to other places. It even transformed into Horii's appearance and contacted Nozue, asking Nozue to connect Horii's computer to the main computer. Nozue did as instructed without suspicion.
As a result, the system malfunctioned, and the main computer was taken over by Hizomo. He then threatened that if anyone dared to cut off the power, he would kill Horii, that fat guy!
Horii felt he had been deceived, but he still wanted to know the reason, so he asked Hisama why.
So Bizomo told Horii the reason: they didn't have what humans call compassion. They reproduced using electrical energy, and then hacked into computers, thus evolving.
Meanwhile, Nozue found a way to restore the system: to activate the backup system developed by Horii. This backup system was a second-hand preparation made by Horii in case the main computer was invaded by a virus.
However, this operation requires a password, which only Horii, that fat guy, knows!
While everyone was racking their brains over the lack of a password, Horii sent a set of Morse code via a communicator. After deciphering it, they obtained the password for the backup system and immediately entered it.
Seeing that the system had been restored, everyone set off to rescue Horii.
When Hizomo saw that the system was out of his control again, he knew that someone else had tampered with it, so he decided to kill Horii, that fat guy, and let them know what he was capable of!
Just as Horii was on the verge of death, the others arrived and shot and killed Hizoma, saving Horii.
But not all the Bizomos died; there were still many of them!
Hizomo, disguised as Daigo, tricked Rena into leaving TPC headquarters aboard the Flying Swallow. Unsurprisingly, Rena was then taken control of by Hizomo aboard the Flying Swallow.
By observing the flight path, the group deduced that Bizomo's target was a high-purity power plant!
Daigo piloted the Flying Swallow 1 to give chase, and the rest of the group also set off.
On Flying Swallow 2, Bizomo absorbed Lina's knowledge, then fell from the plane onto the power lines and began absorbing electricity to reproduce itself.
As Unit-2 was about to crash to the ground, Daigo transformed into Ultraman Tiga in a moment of desperation, saving Unit-2 and Rena inside.
At this moment, Bizomo absorbed enough electricity and transformed into a giant monster.
Tiga fought the monster, and Bizomo was no match for Tiga, getting thoroughly beaten up by him.
"You dared to lay a hand on Lina! You dared to lie!" Tiga cursed and swore as he fought.
However, Bizomo also has skills; it can fire electric beams from its eyes, and its arms can emit electromagnetic wave barriers, blocking Tiga's attacks and Zeperion Rays, causing some trouble for Tiga.
Tiga then transformed into his powerful form and fought again, not only knocking out Bizomo's eyes but also breaking Bizomo's arm. Finally, he used the Delasium Beam to blast Bizomo into pieces.
Bizomo was thus destroyed!
Next appeared a bird-like monster named Sira. Originally a parrot, it was transformed into a monster by the influence of Zidal gas.
That day, the GUTS team received a notification that a monster had appeared in Hokkaido. So the GUTS team members flew over in the Hien.
The original plan was to attack the monster from the side, but Director Sawai disregarded the danger to the team members and ordered them to attack from the front in order to change the monster's path.
There was nothing they could do; after all, he was the boss of TPC. So, the Flying Swallow 2 attacked head-on, colliding with the monster in the process, resulting in Munakata and Daigo both being seriously injured.
As for why we must attack head-on?
Director Sawai provided the answer: he was actually worried that the monsters would come to the Zidal Center.
Twenty years ago, a scientist accidentally created a terrible gas there, ZDAR gas.
The scientist in question was Dr. Nezu, the former director of the Hokkaido Energy Development Institute. He brought a vial of this gas home, which leaked, destroying his house and the surrounding forest. Dr. Nezu's daughter also died in the accident. Such a small vial, about the size of an eye drop, caused such immense damage. Later, the defense force was disbanded, and the Zidal gas was sealed at the Zidal Center.
If the monster attacks there and the Zidal gas explodes, then one-tenth of the country's land will be burned down and all living beings will be destroyed!
Dr. Nezu saw the news and recognized the bird as Sila from years ago, guessing that Sila's target was Zidal gas. He went to the TPC headquarters and told the GUTS team that the strange bird was Sila, his daughter's pet from 20 years ago. Sila witnessed her young master being engulfed in flames and thus harbored a deep hatred for Zidal gas. Its target was Zidal gas. He pleaded with the GUTS team to stop Sila.
Meanwhile, after being injured by the GUTS team, the monster Sira hid in Asami Mountain to recuperate. Recalling the explosion 20 years ago, it thought of its young master. So it spread its wings and flew back to the Zidal Center.
The Victory Team also received a signal from the radar that Sila had appeared, so the entire team was mobilized.
Flying Swallow 1 and 2 caught up with Sila and unleashed a barrage of lasers, knocking her down from the sky and sending her crashing to the ground.
The group launched another attack, but Sila ignored the damage she was sustaining and breathed flames at the center of Zidal.
At this moment, Dr. Nezu also arrived at the scene and headed towards the storage room of Zidl gas to prepare to transfer the Zidl gas!
Just as the monster was about to pass, Daigo transformed into Ultraman Tiga.
However, Daigo had been seriously injured beforehand and could not exert his usual strength. As a result, he was knocked to the ground by Sira's claws.
Upon seeing this, Yang Guang pulled out his Spark Lens and transformed into Ultraman Geed.
Gad was about to launch an attack when he noticed that Sila didn't take advantage of Tiga's fall to the ground to attack him, but instead walked straight towards the center of Zidal. Gad sensed that Sila lacked the ferocity of other monsters, so he approached her and communicated with her using Ultra Telepathy.
"Sila, stop! You can't go any further. If the ZDAR gas is released, it will cause a huge disaster."
Ang~ Chirp~ Chirp~
“I want to take the Zidal gas with me,” Sila replied.
"What!" Gade exclaimed in shock.
It turns out that Sira didn't want to destroy the Zidal gas, but rather to take it away from Earth.
I'm so ashamed! I never imagined that after all this time, it was all a misunderstanding!
At this time, Sila was not in good condition; she even began to vomit blood and staggered to the door of the Zidal gas storage room.
The group was about to attack Sila, but Gade stopped them.
Just then, at the door of the storage room, Dr. Nezu was carrying out the Zidal gas when he saw Sira and was shocked! He thought he was doomed!
As a result, Sira opened her mouth and exhaled a beam of golden light. Dr. Nezu understood Sira's intention and smiled with satisfaction. He then placed the box containing Zidal gas under the golden light. The golden light, which had been exhaled, turned into inhalation, and Sira sucked the box into her stomach.
Dr. Nezu had been in poor health for the past 20 years, but he had been researching how to eliminate Zidal gas. Now that his wish has been fulfilled, he passed away peacefully as his illness recurred.
At this moment, everyone realized that they had misunderstood Sila!
Sira was in very poor condition, barely able to stand. Geed and Tiga rushed forward and supported the monster on either side. Faced with such a monster, not only did everyone feel guilty, but the two Ultras also felt genuine admiration for it!
Finally, everyone worked together to fulfill Sila's wish. Gade and Tiga led the way, and two Flying Swallows pulled Sila into space. Upon arriving in space, Sila closed her eyes.
Meanwhile, Dr. Nezu on the ground emitted a golden light, which flew into space and entered Sila's body. Sila transformed from a monster into a giant golden bird. Guided by the beams of light emitted by Gade and Tiga, Sila carried the souls of its two masters into the depths of space.
It's truly touching that monsters can be so compassionate!
