Chapter 115 The King of Verbal Strength: Long Yueze
Chapter 115 The King of Verbal Strength: Long Yueze
In the dimly lit room, a figure slowly and laboriously moved out of the bedroom.
The newcomer's face was deathly pale, devoid of any color, and his forehead was covered in cold sweat. With every movement, blood seeped from his tattered wounds, staining his magic robe crimson.
His left arm hung limply, and his steps were extremely difficult, as if each step required all his strength.
He staggered up to Long Yueze, his eyes resolute, his voice weak yet still clear: "What do you want, Young Master Long?"
Long Yueze looked him over with interest, a smile curving his lips. "You're Bing Tuozi's father? You don't look much like him."
Ji Mohan shuddered and coughed violently, a trickle of blood seeping from the corner of his lips. He endured the pain, his gaze piercing like a knife as he looked at Long Yueze, filled with anger and vigilance.
"You...know Yu'er?" he asked with difficulty, his voice hoarse but full of vigilance. "What do you intend to do to him?"
Long Yueze raised an eyebrow, seemingly unsurprised by his reaction, a faint smile playing on his lips. "What do you think... I'll do to him? Hmm~ let me think, there seems to be quite a bit I can do! How about whipping him first, and maybe adding some chili water to spice things up?"
His smile deepened, his eyes gleaming with even more amusement. He looked up at Ji Mohan with unbridled arrogance. "What's next? Oh, right! Slowly sever his blood vessels, let him watch helplessly as his blood drains away bit by bit. How about that, isn't it great? Why are you glaring at me? Do you want some other suggestions?"
Ji Mohan glared at him, his eyes flashing with a cold light. "I warn you, Young Master Long, if you dare to harm him, I will never let you go." His voice was low, yet it carried a strong threat. Although he was weak, he had not lost a trace of his spirit.
Upon hearing this, Long Yueze couldn't help but burst into laughter, his laughter filled with obvious contempt and provocation. "Even in this state, you still dare to threaten me? Aren't you afraid I'll get my revenge on him?"
As he spoke, he stood up and slowly approached Ji Mohan, his eyes filled with coldness. "You should think about yourself first, and how you plan to get out of here alive."
A strong worry flashed in Ji Mohan's eyes. He endured the excruciating pain in his body and asked in a trembling voice, "Where did you see him? What did you do to him?"
Before he could finish speaking, Ji Mohan suddenly coughed violently. Suddenly, he spat out a mouthful of blood, staining his lips and the front of his clothes red, and then his body went limp and he collapsed instantly.
Long Yueze was startled and quickly stepped forward to catch him, his brows furrowing slightly and a hint of guilt flashing in his eyes.
"Oh no, we've gone too far. We've actually made him faint from anger." Long Yueze muttered to himself as he carefully carried Ji Mohan's body toward the bedroom.
After settling Ji Mohan on the bed, Long Yueze didn't delay and immediately ran to the outer room to find a bottle of medicine from the medicine cabinet.
He gently poured the medicine into Ji Mohan's mouth and carefully observed his condition. Seeing that Ji Mohan's complexion had regained some color, Long Yueze breathed a sigh of relief.
……
Under a thicket on the outskirts of the Aris Great Forest, Chu Qiuchi and his companions sat together, quietly discussing their next move.
Puyang Minghui sighed, her eyes filled with worry. "The outer perimeter has been searched. It seems General Jimo is indeed in the inner perimeter. What should we do next?"
Chu Qiuchi was silent for a moment, his eyes flickered slightly, and finally he spoke, "I sent a message to the commander of Jimo, and he told us to return directly to the war zone."
As soon as he finished speaking, the others were slightly taken aback, and their eyes all turned to Ji Moyu.
Ji Moyu concealed the worry in his eyes. After a moment, his gaze hardened, and a resolute look flashed in his eyes. "You all go back first. I need to go and take a look at the inner perimeter."
Upon hearing this, Chu Qiuchi couldn't help but gently bump him with her body, her tone full of dissatisfaction and concern, "Little Fish, what nonsense are you talking about? Do you think we would let you go on an adventure alone?"
Then, she turned to look at Ao Nanxi, "Nanxi, you take Liu Yan and the others back to report first, we'll go back later!"
Ao Nanxi glared at her. "Qiu Chi, what are you saying? We came together, so of course we're going back together! Don't even think about leaving us behind."
Chu Qiuchi's expression was serious as he looked directly at Ao Nanxi, his tone grave: "Nanxi, the situation inside is far too complicated. General Song and General Luo haven't replied yet, and we don't even have a clear understanding of the specifics inside. If you go and something happens, we..."
Before she could finish speaking, Ao Nanxi interrupted her directly, her tone full of determination, "Do you still consider me a friend? Stop saying these unnecessary things. Wherever you go, we'll go. There's no room for discussion."
Liu Yan chimed in softly, "Yes, Qiu Chi, let's all go together. After all, there's strength in numbers, and we can look out for each other if anything happens."
Qin Yi nodded eagerly, looking at Ji Moyu with a worried expression.
Chu Qiuchi sighed and said with some helplessness, "You really want to come along?"
“Of course.” Ao Nanxi’s voice was firm and resolute, his eyes showing no wavering.
Chu Qiuchi hesitated for a moment, then finally nodded, "Alright, since you've all decided, let's go together."
After agreeing on the plan, the others stretched out their bodies and began to conserve their energy in preparation for the next action.
Seeing this, Ji Moyu silently got up and walked away into the distance. Chu Qiuchi was about to follow when he suddenly felt a faint vibration from a magical teleportation device.
She immediately stopped and quickly turned to walk to the other side. After getting a little away from the others, she silently recited an incantation and gently summoned her flying spirit.
It was a letter from Long Yueze. The message was brief and direct, yet it brought exciting news—the person was safe and sound and had been found.
"Found him..." Chu Qiuchi murmured to himself, his heart pounding with excitement, his hands trembling, and his eyes overflowing with joy. He kept repeating to himself, "That's wonderful, that's wonderful! General Jimo has finally been found. Thank goodness, he's alright!"
In an instant, all her anxiety and stress seemed to vanish with this simple message. She couldn't help but smile, her tense expression finally relaxing, and her heart filled with clarity.
Taking a deep breath, Chu Qiuchi calmed her excited emotions and gently put away the message.
Suddenly, she realized a problem: Ji Mo had been found, but she had asked Long Yueze to help her with this privately. How was she going to explain this to the others?
Just then, she felt the vibration of the magic message again. Without the slightest hesitation, she quickly opened the message, which was still from Long Yueze: "1 a.m., near the Demon Ape Clan, pick someone up."
