Chapter 582: Spending Money Like Water
Chapter 582: Spending Money Like Water
"Sir, I don’t mean anything else, but our store doesn’t have that many same-style clothes. If it’s different styles, you don’t need to buy three hundred sets. After all, the price is still quite high."
The owner carefully said, afraid of offending this distinguished guest.
Mr. Yang raised an eyebrow and said lightly, "I know the price, different styles don’t matter either. Pack up all the styles your store has, calculate how much it costs, and I’ll pay right now."
Seeing he wasn’t joking, the owner was stunned for a few seconds, then quickly beamed with joy, "Okay, sir, I’ll take care of it right now."
As he was about to call the young girl to help, Yang Cheng spoke up: "She stays, I still need to try on a few outfits."
Now Yang Cheng was the big spender, and the owner dared not go against his wishes, chuckled, "Xiaoyue, you must carefully attend to Mr. Yang, make a good impression!"
Xiaoyue nodded repeatedly, handing over the few recommended outfits to Uncle Pan to try.
About half an hour later, the clothes still weren’t packed, but the owner had already calculated the total bill and came over with it.
"Mr. Yang, these clothes add up to fifty-six thousand eight hundred."
Yang Cheng handed over a card.
After successfully swiping the card for payment, the owner finally breathed a sigh of relief, his smile widening.
That day’s turnover was already equivalent to a month’s worth before, truly unexpected fortune!
"The credit for purchasing these clothes should go to her, because her service attitude was very good just now, which is why I decided to buy them from your place."
Yang Cheng pointed to Xiaoyue standing beside him, the girl looked flattered, her cheeks flushed, shyly bowed her head.
"No problem! Xiaoyue is the store’s lucky star! Just been here a few days and already closed a big deal!"
The owner made such a big profit; he naturally didn’t mind that bit of commission, and right in front of Yang Cheng, he put the commission on Xiaoyue.
"Well, I’m leaving now. Once you pack all the clothes, arrange a truck to deliver them near Wangchuan Valley."
After speaking, Yang Cheng took Uncle Pan to the kids’ clothing store.
The owner nodded and bowed all the way, sending them to the door. Only when their figures were completely gone did he turn to go back inside.
At this moment, the sarcastic woman from the neighboring shop poked her head out, speaking with an odd tone: "Qi, that kid stayed in your shop for so long, how come he didn’t buy anything?"
"Who said he didn’t buy? He bought over three hundred sets of clothes at once and paid fifty-seven thousand, yet the clothes aren’t packed. I’ll call a car later to help deliver the goods."
Qi the owner smiled broadly, showed off a bit, then went inside to get busy.
Once he entered, the sarcastic woman snapped out of it, her face full of disbelief, "How could this be! He looks just like a poor humble fellow; he actually spent fifty-seven thousand!"
She went over to check, and indeed, the store employees were busy packing clothes, each bearing a smile.
Though the others didn’t get commissions, the owner was so pleased he gave each a bonus.
Exuberant voices penetrated the glass and reached the sarcastic woman’s ears, she was so angry her teeth were almost crushed. If she hadn’t driven them out earlier, she would be the one making tens of thousands now.
Meanwhile, Yang Cheng bought a hundred sets of children’s clothing in the kids’ store and then went to a bridal shop.
"Little Divine Doctor, the village girls have sewn wedding dresses; you don’t need to buy them."
Uncle Pan advised. He had been following Yang Cheng shopping all the way, hearing the numbers felt his heart bleeding.
"It was Yue Ying who asked me to buy a wedding dress. I originally only planned to buy for her, but so many girls are getting married, might as well buy for all."
Yang Cheng entered the bridal shop, picked out a few of the most popular Xiuhe gowns, totaling fifteen sets. One of them was exceptionally striking, embroidered with gold thread, adorned with pearls and rhinestones, with tassels hanging down.
At first glance, he thought Yue Ying would look beautiful wearing it, the tassels swaying gracefully as she walked.
"Sir, since you’re buying so many, the store can offer a discount. The price for the other Xiuhe gowns is around five thousand, but this one is relatively higher, costing eighteen thousand."
The shop assistant quickly explained, "The gold and silver threads on this Xiuhe are all hand-embroidered by a seamstress, the pearls sewn on one by one, the materials and labor are quite expensive."
"Just this one."
Yang Cheng nodded and handed over a card.
The shop assistant burst into a smile and quickly went to settle the bill, packaged all fifteen Xiuhe gowns, and sent them to Qi the owner’s store to await the truck’s arrival for shipping.
In merely two hours, Yang Cheng had swept through several stores, buying everything he could, spending millions.
Uncle Pan’s frown deepened, knowing Yang Cheng was wealthy but spending so lavishly was still surprising.
He had never seen so much money in his life, only for Yang Cheng to spend it all in a day.
"Uncle Pan, don’t keep frowning. I’m spending my own money, why are you so painfully concerned?"
Yang Cheng found it amusing, couldn’t resist teasing him.
"Little Divine Doctor, your money didn’t just blow in with the wind. Our villagers don’t need such expensive clothes, if we went to a wholesale market, an outfit costs only tens of bucks."
Uncle Pan sighed, his face full of worry.
"I don’t mind spending this money; it’s just my token of goodwill to everyone."
Yang Cheng understood Yun Chan’s intention for sending him shopping, merely buying people’s hearts. Since he promised to buy, he would naturally buy quality, letting everyone splurge a bit and remember his kind deed.
Just then, the mall manager came over briskly, warmly greeting Yang Cheng and exchanging pleasantries.
Taking this opportunity, Yang Cheng took a shot at the sarcastic middle-aged woman.
"I’m here touring Luochuan, buying these items to donate to impoverished areas. Who knew just entering a shop, I’d be chased out..."
He rambled on for a while about how, if it weren’t for the woman affecting his mood, spending tens of millions wouldn’t be an issue.
Hearing this, the manager’s face darkened, hurriedly apologized with many nods and bows, then went to sort out things with the middle-aged woman.
Yang Cheng perked his ears, hearing scolding from that side, he chuckled with satisfaction, dragging Uncle Pan to the restaurant they visited before.
The two ordered six dishes and then booked the whole restaurant, making sure every dish from his arrival to finishing was all paid for.
Uncle Pan heard that and almost passed out again, he ate heartily during the meal, worried that the longer it took, the more dishes the kitchen would make, causing Yang Cheng to spend even more.
But Yang Cheng took his time, ate a couple of bites and chatted with Uncle Pan.
By the time they finished eating, the chefs had prepared dozens of dishes, though there was no need to hire another truck for these; they simply had them placed directly on their own car.
