Chapter 938 Unrequited Love
Chapter 938 Unrequited Love
Villain Ch 938. Unrequited Love
"Well," Allen began, a hint of a smile playing on his lips, "it's not about handling them. It's about making sure everyone feels special and appreciated."
But the cringe on Azura's face didn't disappear. "I know. But... seven of them? Are they going to take turns or..." Azura's words trailed off, her mind unable to fully grasp the logistics of such an arrangement.
The image of Allen with seven girls was a wild thought, almost surreal. How does he do that with all of them? And also, how can Allen handle it? That's totally crazy!
Azura's thoughts spiraled further. She knew of several millionaires who had more than seven girlfriends, but those relationships always seemed devoid of real feelings. It was all about status and convenience. But Allen? He had genuine feelings for his girlfriends, and they for him. This wasn't just a superficial arrangement.
Despite the complexity and unconventional nature of their relationship, the emotions were real. And that made it all the more fascinating—and confusing—for Azura.
Allen seemed to sense her inner turmoil. "Azura, it's not as complicated as it seems. Each of them brings something unique to my life, and I try to give back to each of them in a way that's meaningful. Tonight isn't just about physical closeness."
Azura took a deep breath, nodding slowly. "I guess I just can't wrap my head around it," she admitted.
Emma, ever the teasing sister, smirked at Allen. "You haven't told us how you're going to do it, brother."
Allen knew Emma was just teasing him, and he simply shrugged with a smile. "We'll go with the flow about that," he said casually, his voice relaxed and nonchalant. "We'll do it, but if they're not in the mood, I won't force anything."
Azura nodded, her amusement still lingering. "We're just looking out for you. It's not every day we see you like this."
Allen sighed, shaking his head. "I know, I know. It's just... tonight is important. I want everything to be perfect."
Emma's expression softened, and she placed a hand on his shoulder. "We get it. And for what it's worth, we're impressed by how much effort you're putting into this."
Azura nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you've really thought of everything. They're lucky to have you." 'And I kinda envy them,' she thought. She wanted to say it but it was impossible to do it. Her logic still reminded her it was just a dead-end relationship.
Allen smiled, feeling a surge of gratitude for his sister and cousin. Their support meant a lot to him, especially on a night like this. "Thanks, you two. That means a lot."
With a final nod of encouragement, Emma and Azura left him to his preparations. They wanted to help, but they knew he wanted to do this himself, to put his personal touch on everything for the people who were important to him. They respected his wishes, not wanting to interfere or detract from his efforts.
Just before leaving the kitchen, Emma stopped in her tracks and turned back. She approached Allen again, her steps soft and deliberate. "Next time, please cook for us. Or we can cook together," she said in a low voice, a gentle smile on her lips.
Allen looked up, slightly surprised by her sudden return. Before he could respond, Emma leaned in, bringing her face close to his ear. "Please do it before Azura's visit is over," she whispered. "You know she has feelings for you, right? But she knows it will be unrequited love."
Allen froze for a moment, taken aback by her words. Emma gave him a meaningful look, then turned and left before he could formulate an answer.
He stood there, Emma's words settling heavily on his shoulders. He had always known, on some level, about Azura's feelings. But hearing it out loud, from Emma, brought a new layer of complexity to his ahead.
