Chapter 800: Piece of Cake!

Villain Ch 800. Piece of Cake!

Undeterred, Allen wasted no time in launching his counterattack. "Demonic Orbs!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the graveyard. Dozens of dark orbs materialized within the barrier, swirling and pulsating with malevolent energy. With a flick of his wrist, Allen unleashed the orbs, sending them hurtling toward Gheppetto with deadly accuracy.

A train of damage announcements appeared in front of Allen.

But even as the orbs rained down upon him, Gheppetto refused to yield. With a defiant roar, he attempted to break free from the confines of the barrier, his strings thrashing wildly in a desperate bid for freedom.

Seeing that his initial assault was not enough to subdue his adversary, Allen knew he had to escalate his attack. With a grim determination, he summoned forth his skill.

"Demonic Lance."

The dark lances materialized within the barrier. Allen unleashed them with a powerful thrust of his hand. The lances streaked through the air like bolts of lightning, striking Gheppetto with unerring accuracy and unleashing a torrent of dark energy upon him.

In less than a minute, Gheppetto lay defeated.

"Ugh, that’s too easy," Bella said with a cringe.

With a sense of satisfaction, Allen approached the fallen Puppeteer, his hand outstretched.

"Now, Gheppetto," Allen said, his voice cold and commanding. "You will serve me." Allen’s lips curled into a cruel smile as he unleashed his skill, binding Gheppetto to his will with unbreakable chains of darkness.

Allen nodded in confirmation, his expression serious as he explained further. "But what they don’t know is we can push the barrier with our skills’ impact," he reminded them, his tone resolute. "It’s simply using skills that could crack the ground under them, and we could escape from under there. While the wall-type barrier doesn’t have much of an effect on us since we can simply jump through it."

"I guess they will get more surprises in the next war," Bella mused, a hint of excitement in her voice at the prospect of outsmarting their adversaries.

"Yeah," Allen agreed, his tone determined. "Let’s move," he declared, his voice ringing with resolve as he led the group forward.

Allen led the group through the eerie cemetery, they navigated past rows of weathered tombstones and crumbling mausoleums. The moon cast an ethereal glow over the scene, casting long shadows that danced across the uneven ground.

Eventually, they arrived at a grave that stood out among the rest, its marble headstone pristine amidst the surrounding decay. Allen approached cautiously, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger.

"This looks like the place," he remarked, his voice hushed with uncertainty. "I don’t know what’s in here. I’ve never been here before. Be careful," he cautioned, his words echoing in the stillness of the night.

With a collective nod, the group proceeded to the grave, their footsteps echoing softly on the damp earth. Once they reached the headstone, a faint shimmer of light appeared, illuminating a hidden path that led into the depths below.

Entering the dungeon, they were enveloped by a thick, oppressive atmosphere that seemed to weigh down upon them like a heavy blanket. The air was musty and stale, filled with the scent of decay and damp stone. The walls seemed to close in around them, the darkness pressing in from all sides. The air grew colder and a sense of foreboding settled over the group like a heavy fog.

The walls of the catacomb were lined with ancient carvings and symbols, their meaning lost to time. Torch sconces flickered sporadically along the corridors, casting long shadows that seemed to dance and shift with every gust of wind. Their senses alert for any sign of danger.

Once they arrived at some kind of underground temple, an announcement appeared in front of them.

[Congratulations! You just discovered a Hidden Catacomb!]
